Tennis at Emerald Pointe consists of five tennis courts, four clay and one hard surface. The Emerald Pointe Tennis Club has a tennis pro on staff twelve months a year.

The Emerald Pointe Tennis player will find a very active tennis club and program at Emerald Pointe. The Emerald Pointe Tennis Club organizes events among its own teams and also organizes events and matches with other tennis clubs in the area for play either here or at these other clubs throughout this area.

About the Emerald Pointe Tennis League:

The Charlotte County Women's Tennis League, (CCWTL) is active at Emerald Pointe. There are three (3) divisions represented: EP "Pointers" 2.5 (Tuesdays), EP "B~Bees"3.0 (Wednesdays), and EP "Dynamos" 3.5 (Mondays). (Morning Match day is indicated by parentheses.) Tennis season begins in mid October and runs through March. There is an end of the year luncheon to celebrate the season. Trophies are awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams.

On Friday Mornings the 50+ Women's Tennis League plays their matches. There are two (2) divisions represented: EP "Belles" 2.5 and EP "Emerald Pinks" 3.5. The season begins in early November and runs through March. An end of the year luncheon is the finale of the season.

Thursday is reserved for the Peace River Men's Tennis League. This season also begins in late October and runs through March. There are two divisions represented: EP "Guards" B5 and EP "Flying Aces" B2. The men usually have two luncheons to celebrate their season.
