For the Boater at Emerald Pointe
EMERALD POINTE has nearly one mile of Docks. (Please see the Walkers' Map, it gives actual distances) As shown in the Walkers Map, within Emerald Pointe, there are very nearly 4500 feet of docks, not counting finger docks and access ramps to the main docks. Depending on the arrangement of boats in the Marina Basin, and depending on the length of the boats, there is dockage for approximately a 100 boats. On the property there is also a Dry Storage area for Boats and Trailers. This space is also limited and is likewise assigned on a first-come, first served basis.

The EMERALD POINTE Marina Committee is charged to manage the vessel placement within the EMERALD POINTE Marina Basin. Sometimes there are over one hundred boats in the Marina. There is no charge for docking a boat at EMERALD POINTE, but space for vessels is provided by assignment. Any EMERALD POINTE owner may fill out a vessel assignment request. The EMERALD POINTE Dock Master reviews any of these request for vessel assignments in the Emerald Pointe Marina Basin and this vessel placement is on a first come first serve basis. EMERALD POINTE also has and maintains its own boat ramp.
The EMERALD POINTE Marina Committee is also charged to organize and conduct the Emerald Pointe Boat Club meetings. All owners at Emerald Pointe are able to attend the Boat Club meetings.
Currently the Boat Club of EMERALD POINTE organizes meetings and schedules outings in season. The Boat Club arranges U.S. Coast Guard vessel inspections each year for all vessels in the Marina Basin. The Boat Club organizes a meeting at least once each month in season. At this meeting, Marina business is reviewed, Boat Club outings and trips are planned, and there is usually a speaker on a topic pertinent to Boating in Southwest Florida. The Marina Committee concurrently with the EMERALD POINTE Boat Club oversees all activities at and in Marina Basin at Emerald Pointe. Together they organize, plan, and oversee the needs of the over four thousand five hundred feet of docks in the Marina Basin.
The EMERALD POINTE Boat Club has been a very active participant in the US. Coast Guard Aux. Safe Boating Program. Always remember: File your Float Plan with someone before you depart on your Boating excursion.
